Do you have a favorite Vampire TV show? Unlike movies there are only a few that are currently on TV and definitely are worth watching. Here at we will review some of the older ones as well as the more current ones that are available. If you have yet to watch these great shows you definitely should check them out. Vampire Diaries

Vampire Diaries is the perfect Vampire TV show for the whole family. It has fans of all ages especially teens and college ages to those that are older and remember what it was like to be young and daring. This hot series stars a high school cheerleader that is torn between two steaming hot Vampire brothers which both love her more than anyone or anything in the world. Stefan is the quiet brother that has struggled with blood lust but would do anything to help keep Elena Gilbert from harm’s way. Damon is the more daring brother that would also do whatever it takes to keep the love of his life safe. Along the way there have been tons of turns and road blocks that have led them to where they are today. With witches, warlocks and hybrids to keep the show interesting if you have yet to check out Vampire Diaries you should definitely do so today. Some of the additional characters that help to keep the show alive include Caroline Forbes (Candice Accola), Matt Donovan (Zach Roerig), Jeremy Gilbert (Steven R. McQueen), Bonnie Bennett (Kat Graham), Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Rebekah (Claire Holt) just to name a few. True Blood

Which recently returned to TV is an HBO series that is a show full of lust, danger, romance and of course Vampires. In addition to these sexy but blood thirsty creatures True Blood also includes Fairies, Werewolves, shape shifters. Based on the Sookie Stackhouse – The Southern Vampire Mysteries written by Charlaine Harris this amazing Vampire show is not like anything you have ever seen before. If you are ready for a seductive show that involves hot guys and sexy girls that are ready to take a bit out of you make sure to check out this HBO favorite. Some of the more popular characters in the series include Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer), Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten), Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell), Tara Thornton (Rutina Wesley), Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgård), Jessican Hamby (Deborah Ann Woll) and the feisty Pam De Beaufort (Kristin Bauer van Straten). This is just a few of the many seductive characters that are just waiting to help spice up your life. Being Human

For those TV fanatics that love variety will love what Being Human has to offer. This hot TV show offers a modern day living situation in which a vampire, ghost and a witch attempt to live together in harmony. While this show tends to be a bit quirky at times it’s also very different than many of the other vampire TV shows that you may have watched and will definitely keep you engaged. Buffy the Vampire Slayer

What started out as a movie “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” Buffy Summers and her mother move to Sunnydale, only to later discover that the city is being overran with vampires. Staring in the vampire TV show, Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy Summers)  quickly learns that being a chosen teenage vampire slayer in the modern times as a high school isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Her dreamy vampire savior and boyfriend Angel helps to really spice things up especially when Buffy has several close calls. The sexy angel was played by no one other than David Boreanaz.


Spin off of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, this hot stud really helps brings Vampire TV shows to the front and center of many of the 1990 shows. What a way to bring in the 2000s and with a 5 year running we are sure that if you have yet to watch this series that you will love what it has to offer. Check it out today. Dark Shadows

Dark Shadows which was later turned in to a movie started out decades ago as a black and white TV show that was loved by many. Victoria Winters moves to Collinwood to work as a governess at a mansion that hosts a house full of vampires, ghosts and a century old curse that will soon be a part of her normal life.

There was two different periods in which this beloved soap opera like show was available so whether you are a fan of the original or prefer the 1991 series remake you can check out what Barnaby Collins has in store for everyone at the Collinwood manor by checking out the links below. The original Dark Shadows Vampire TV show ran from 1966 – 1971. The remake which was in color was a fun but short lived series with only 12 episodes.

If you love the old fashion Vampires you will definitely love what Barnaby and the rest of the spooky cast has to offer.
