teresaHere is my author interview with the talented author Teresa Gabelman for the Multi Author, Multi Day, Multi Genre Book Bash – day one which is featuring vampire authors. This is the author of The Protectors Series which happens to be one of my all time favorite vampire book series. Teresa’s most recent release in the series is Jax so make sure to grab your copy today. If she is a new author to you check out Damon which is book one in this hot series.

How long have you been a fan of vampires and do you have a favorite from the movies or books?
Ever since my older brother made me watch the old Dracula movies when I was little. Actually, he made me watch all the old monster movies, but Dracula was my favorite. More romantic than Frankenstein and better looking also.

How many books do you currently have on the market that have a vampire in them?
Eight so far….soon to be nine, then ten and after that eleven…..you get the picture.

What inspired you to write your first vampire book and what can readers expect to find once they read it?
I just thought it was fun to be able to create my own world. I love to write something that people can connect with and laughter is one of my main goals when I write. I love humor in my books along with the love, sex and action.

If vampires really existed and you could choose to become one but had to leave the life as you currently know it behind would you do it yes or no and why?
No, because of my family. I would never do that to them. If I had no family, then hell yeah.

Would you say that vampires are your favorite paranormal being and why or why not?
Yes, they are because they are badass!

If your vampire book(s) were to be turned into a movie and you could choose who would play the role as one of your leading vamps who would you choose and what role is it that they would play?
Chris Hemsworth and any part he wanted to play. HA!

When it comes to vampires do you prefer yours as many of the old legends and myths speak of them or how TV has changed them over the years?
I love mine because they can walk in the daylight and interact with humans, which is my favorite part. They could be you next door neighbor and honestly, I wish a Warrior or two were my neighbor. 😉

Are there any specific vampire authors that you enjoy reading that have made your favorites list?
Sherrilyn Kenyon…no doubt!

When it comes to your own vampire books what is one thing that you do to ensure that they are unique and will stand out against other books within the same genre?
I just try to make it as real as possible, I want the reader to think they are right there in the action.

Any big plans or projects planned for 2016 that you would like to share with us?
For those who have read the series I have one word…. SLOAN!
